Search Terms People Use to Find Dating Relationship Bloggers

As I sit and write this I'm thinking of ways to torment my co-workers and the people I love.  Perhaps it's time to fake those sex change pictures again and horrify my family once more… Or maybe hiding my boss's phone up in the ceiling tiles and repeatedly call it, ala Jim, from the Office.  Just the other day I was looking through our keywords to see what would come up.  Here are a but a few of the more popular search terms people use to find our little site…

Urban Dater is a JerkI have to own this one this one, when you write articles with “Confessions of a Jerk” in the title it's only inevitable that you start seeing related keyword leadins…  However, that people are specifically typing the Urban Dater gives me all sorts of warm fuzzies!

baby powder attract female –
A while back, the awesome Cole Harmonson, over at Pre-Middle Age did an awesome guest post for us on men who attempt to seduce women by wearing baby powder.  It's a regular keyword lead-in.  For the record, I've found little success with this technique. Just sayin'

facial hair dating – What can I saw bearded folk (like yo mama) need some McLovin' too!

girl eats soggy waffle – You guys ever heard that phrase “innocence lost?”  That's kind of what I felt had happened to me when I decided to search this term up.

the octopus date guy – My site doesn't even come up for this term, how on earth they got here is beyond me!  All I know is that this “octopus guy” sounds like the most talented dater. EvAr!!!!

Laurie Davis, eFlirt Date Expert

Laurie Davis, a Digital Dating Coach over at eFlirtDateExpert.com has been at the digital dating game and helping countless people find love on the internet and helping them with would-be daters pimp their profiles for the maximum “hey how YOU doin' effect.”  Obvioulsy she is no stranger to off the wall search terms.  Here are a few that she shared with me:

Ny city firemen are cheaters – Oof!  That's a bad beat for the fire fighters of NYC.  Ouch!

How old is laurie davis, eflirt – I like this one because people want to know all sorts of things about successful individuals.  I did my own research and found  out Laurie is merely 16 years old!  I'm kidding of course.  Make no mistake though, she's bold, young and quite successful! Take some pointers from her, kids.

Skin mole removal – Wow. I don't even know what to say here.  All I know is that Laurie might have a keyword worth exploiting here!  In addition to sprucing up your profile, you get a trial size sample of mole removal!  The possibilities are endless here!

Most popular place to keep condoms – This is a highly educational lead-in to any dating related site.  Many people really don't know where they should keep their condoms!  The blender, microwave and your mom's room all seem like sub-standard places to keep your condoms.  Just sayin'.

WinkWink Zoe

Wink WInk Zoe, what can I say about Zoe, here?  While she's no longer the “new blogger” on the dating blogger block, she's still fresh to the scene, but really, the girl is ALL over the place in the social mediaverse! That's a good thing!  Zoe is also an occasional lunch companion, which is awesome!  It's through some of our lunches that I've learned that the woman loves her Asian men, which makes sense since she studies at a school with a high volume of Asian enrollment… That and maybe because she lived in Korea for a long time, too. Talk about putting yourself where the action is!

punjab boobs sex – Man.  What does one say to this?  Sometimes search terms give you a sense of what a person is writing about, sometimes it's completely off.  I'd have been completely surprised had Zoe not done a sexually charged post on her site not too long ago.  shakes head

i love asian men – If you've ever talked to her, you pretty much understand.

men winking at work – Budding bloggers take note; you never know what keywords generate traffic to your site!  Keep up on your analytics, kids.

meaty men – Someone must be looking for me.  Alas, I am nowhere to be found on Zoe's content of meaty men, which I'm pretty sure doesn't exist there.

  1. LOVE it! This reminds me; I really need to write another post on Asian men. The one I wrote two months ago is still getting a lot of rerun traffic, but it is an untapped (heh heh) group.

Looking forward to lunch today. It's Indian food, you know, so maybe I'll keep an eye open for "punjab boobs"?

    1. First off, you need to make sure you have Google Analytics set up to track your blog.

  2. i find it interesting that you didn't include lost plum. Because as a twitter follower of all the "'dating bloggers"" everyone knows she has made posting her search term of the day her thing for well over a year. It's just funny that someone known for funny search terms was left out after you all made such a stink over being a ""community"" it's just funny that's all. Plus, in general you could have picked more interesting bloggers for this too who have been blogging much longer.
