Being in a relationship can be a very beautiful thing. However, by the same token, it can also be a lot of hard work especially if you don't put enough effort into it. This is why it's always a good idea to try and ensure that you do all you can to spice up the relationship if you want it to last. Remember, even if the other person really does love you, they may end up trying out other relationships out of sheer boredom. This means that by actively trying out new things in the relationship, you will not only be increasing the connection between you and them, but also making sure that they are very satisfied with the relationship. Some of the things you will need to do in order to facilitate this include:

Commit to spending time with each other

One of the commonest reasons why relationships go sour is the fact that the people in the relationship don't do much when it comes to spending time with each other. This is normally attributable to issues such as having very little time to do so.

However, you need to understand that spending time with each other is a very crucial part of any relationship. When you do so, you get to connect with each other, and this means that you are very likely to develop a deeper connection with time. Therefore, you should try and spend some time (such as the weekends) with your partner to facilitate this.

Try out new things together

In addition to that, you may also need to do a few new things with each other. This normally brings a sense of adventure in the relationship. Some of the activities you can take part in include going for outdoor activities such as bungee jumping. If you don't want to do this, you could try doing something benign such as going for pottery classes together. This gives you the opportunity to spend time with each other and to also learn something new.

As you can see, the point here is that for you to make your relationship work, you need to commit yourself to spending time with your partner. When doing this, you will need to ensure that not only do you have fun, but that you also cherish the moments you spend with each other. This basically means that you will need to be very creative on how to spend much time together without getting bored.

  1. This is a great post and it rings so much truth. If you can find an activity that is going to bring an adrenaline rush, that is even better Take on the biggest baddest roller coasters, travel to exotic new places, rock climbing. These kind of activities work real well, plus they will give a nice boost to your sex life!

    1. I couldn’t agree more. When an ex and I became more physically active just running, hiking and what not, I definitely felt more pronounced attraction for her. I’ve written about this before, but it’s so good to be reminded. =)
