Adrienne Donnell
Adrienne “A.D.” Donnell is a blogger that got her start as a general assignment journalist for The Birmingham Times in Birmingham, Alabama. After only a few short months, she was nominated for a NNPA (National Newspaper Association) Award. She was then promoted to Entertainment Editor where she obtained interviews with prominent people in the entertainment industry such as Bill Cosby, Debra Lee, John Legend, Destiny’s Child, Chris Brown, Fantasia Barrino, and many, many more. Her works were re-published in many publications nationwide.
During her time as journalist, she also worked as a radio talk show host on Birmingham’s number 1 Hip-Hop and R&B radio station, WBHJ 95.7 Jamz. On her show, ‘Takin it to the Streets,’ she often times touched on very sensitive and sometimes controversial material and was eventually deemed “A.D. The Controversial Cutie.”
Upon moving to Houston, A.D. has worked for numerous online and print publications such as HTownClubs.com and Rolling Out Magazine. She added to her roster of interviews names like Vivica Foxx, Pit Bull, Robin Thicke and Pooch Hall.

Always having a passion for writing, A.D. was suddenly inspired to write her own blog about women and their relationship issues while listening to a couple of “made for reality tv” stories from her friends. Hence the development of thedatingstruggle.com.
